The River Falls Library Board met remotely on July 13, 2020. Present at roll call were Board President Rebecca Ferguson, Robert Wing, Ruth Kuss, Diane Odeen, Kari Heinselman, Jean Ritizinger, Wayne Roen, Joyce Breen, Tanya Misselt, along with guests Monica LaVold and Kim Kiiskinen. After establishing quorum and compliance with open meeting law, it was straight into business.

Approving the agenda and minutes from June 1, the next order of business was approval of the May 2020 Bill Registry. Odeen motioned to approve the bill registry, with a second coming from Wing. The motion to approve the bill registry carried. Next on the agenda was approval of the latest COVID data with a motion made by Roen seconded by Wing to authorize the River Falls Library Director to determine the level of service based on the COVID activity level in Pierce and St. Croix County. The motion carried.

Motion was then made to approve updates to the Hotspot Policy, carrying on a motion by Roen seconded by Ritzinger. The board additionally thanked the River Falls Library Foundation for its generous gift of 15 additional hotspots. Request to approve a new COVID19 Patron Behavior Policy was tabled on motion by Odeen seconded by Ritzinger.

A request was made to approve the AMH contract on down payment with motion by Heinselman seconded by Breen. The motion carried, with the meeting then being adjourned.
