RF Lions present Ray Hempel Fellowship Award
The River Falls Lions Club presented the Ray Hempel Fellowship Award to RFHS teacher CeCe Gilles for the impact that she is making in the school district and community, especially to those with special needs. They honored her at the River Falls Lions Club Annual Recognition Banquet, and several Lions recently came to RFHS to present her with the award. Presenting the award were Lion Joe Fischer, President; Lion Tom Rasmussen, Secretary; Lion Rose Rude, Board Member; and Lion Larry Testa, Incoming President of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation. This award is given in honor of Ray Hempel, who is recognized as the originator of the Wisconsin Lions Camp that has touched the lives of tens of thousands of children and adults with special needs.
