TOWN OF OAK GROVE – A River Falls man is dead after a fiery crash on State Road 29 in the town of Oak Grove Sunday, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say that Jesse Hageman, 43, was heading west on State Road 29 in a 2022 Dodge Durango when his car went off the road and struck a tree at around 9:45 p.m. May 31 near 1250th Street.
Once first responders were able to put out the fire, they found Hageman inside the car. The Pierce County medical examiner pronounced him dead at the scene.
It’s still unclear what led up to the crash. No one else was in the car. Prescott Police Department, Prescott Fire and Allina EMS assisted PCSO at the scene.
According to his obituary, Hageman was a roofer devoted to his two children. A funeral service is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13 at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, MN 55127.
