Welcome to December! We have a lot of activities for the month. Some have limited availability. Please reserve your places ASAP.

December activities

• 4: Senior Center Board Meeting – 9 a.m.
• 5: Memory Café – 10–11:30 a.m.
• 8: Shopping TBD, bus leaves 1 p.m. Call to reserve a seat. Limited availability.
• 11: Christmas Party – Doors open at 4 p.m., reserve your ticket for $15; limited availability.
• 11 and 21: Foot Care; call 715-425-9932 to make an appointment. Cost is $25 with gift certificates available
• 17: Stagehands Theatre “Christmas Everyday.” Call to reserve a seat on the bus. Tickets are $10. Bus leaves at 1 p.m. for a 2 p.m. performance.
• 21: Free Blood Pressure Clinic – 10:30 a.m. to noon.
• 21: Wine and Cheese – 2 p.m,
• 25-26: Christmas – Senior Center closed, no meals

Ongoing activities

• Monday - Friday - 9 a.m. – free 55 + fitness classes
• 1:30 p.m. every Monday – Bingo
• Every Wednesday is PIE Day for lunch; 1 p.m. cards and Euchre
• 1 p.m. every Friday – Cards, “500”
• 9:30 a.m. Monday – Saturday: Coffee hour

Travel to New England next fall to experience historic sites and beautiful fall foliage. Leaving River Falls Sept. 29 returning Oct. 14. For more information contact Marie Deja 715-307-1250. Space is limited so sign up now to reserve your place.

The River Falls Senior Center is looking for volunteers for help with our Home Delivery Meal program. It can be as little as once or twice a month. If interested contact Lena Aumann (715-273-6780)

The Senior Center is open at Wellhaven for in-person dining.  We offer delicious meals Monday thru Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Cost is $6. You are served an entrée with all the trimmings, fruit, dessert, and a beverage. Be sure to check out our menu. Monday and Thursday are soup days, Wednesday is Pie Day, and Friday we offer a salad bar.

We also have grab-n-go for pickup at 11 a.m. Please call 24 hours in advance to reserve your meal. To guarantee a meal it is best to call before noon.
