The River Falls Senior Center (119 Union St.) invites all seniors to check out its September calendar of activities!
September holidays include Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 4 and Grandparents Day on Sunday, Sept. 10. Sept. 22 is the first day of autumn! It’s time to visit an apple orchard or pumpkin patch and heat up some warm cider.
All events take place at Wellhaven (119 Union St.) unless otherwise noted.
Memory Café: 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 5
Popcorn and games: 2 p.m. Sept. 7
Foot care: Sept. 7 and 21.Call 715-425-9932 to make an appointment. Cost is $25.
Senior Center Brunch Fundraiser: 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 10, River Falls Moose Lodge (620 Clark St., River Falls). Cost is $10/person (5 and under free). Call 715-425-9932 to purchase your ticket ahead of time or purchase at the door.
Senior Center Board Meeting: 9 a.m. Sept. 11
Ice Cream Social: 2 p.m. Sept. 14
Free Blood Pressure Clinic: 10:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 21, followed by wine and cheese at 2 p.m.
Morning Coffee Break Education: 10-10:45 a.m. Sept. 22. Topic is fall prevention awareness.
Senior Center General Meeting: 1 p.m. Sept. 26, followed by Bingo.
Root Beer Floats: 2 p.m. Sept. 28
Free 55+ Fitness Classes: 9 a.m. Monday through Friday
Bingo: Every Monday at 1:30 p.m.
Euchre: Every Wednesday at 1 p.m.
500 and Bridge: Every Friday at 1 p.m.
Coffee Hour: 9:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday

A new bus trip is planned to Savannah, Jekyll Island and Beaufort! Join us on a nine-day tour Saturday March 2 – Sunday March 10, 2024! Sponsored by the River Falls Senior Center and Diamond Tours. The Senior Center is open at Wellhaven for in-person dining. We offer delicious meals Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Cost is $5. You are served an entrée with all the trimmings, fruit, dessert and a beverage. Be sure to check out our menu. We also have grab-n-go for pickup at 11 a.m. Please call 24 hours in advance to reserve your meal.
