RIVER FALLS – April is National Humor Month; start the month off right with April Fool’s Day on April 1. A smile can make a difference in your day and to someone else!

The River Falls Senior Center is hoping multiple activities at Wellhaven (119 Union St., River Falls) in April.

• Senior Center Board meeting: 9 a.m. April 3 at Wellhaven
• Memory Café: 10-11:30 a.m. April 4 at Wellhaven. Call Laura at 715-531-5567 to register.
• Foot care: April 13 and 27, at Wellhaven. Call 715-425-9932 to make appointment. Cost is $25.
• Ice Cream Social: 2 p.m. April 13 at Wellhaven, with live music from Jim Ehlers.
• Free Senior Health Fair, 2-4 p.m. April 20 at Wellhaven, sponsored by St. Croix Valley Dementia Friendly Communities
• Senior Center general meeting, 1 p.m. April 25 at Wellhaven, with Bingo following.
• Morning Coffee Break Education: 9:45-10:30 a.m. April 28 at Wellhaven. Learn tips for building a strong immune system.

General activities:

• Free 55+ Fitness Classes: 9 a.m. Monday through Friday at Wellhaven
• Bingo: 1:30 p.m. Mondays at Wellhaven
• Euchre: 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Wellhaven
• 500 & Bridge: 1 p.m. Fridays at Wellhaven
• Coffee Hour: 9:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday at Wellhaven

The Senior Center is open at Wellhaven for in-person dining. We offer delicious meals Monday thru Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Cost is $5. You are served an entrée with all the trimmings, fruit, dessert and a beverage. Be sure to check out our menu. We also have grab-n-go for pickup at 11 a.m. Please call 24 hours in advance to reserve your meal.

A new trip is planned for Fall 2023! River Falls Senior Center presents a guided bus trip to Mount Rushmore, The Badlands and Black Hills of South Dakota Sept. 10–16, 2023. Cost is $835 per person, double occupancy. For reservations and information contact Marie Deja at 715-307-1250.
