“We were thrilled to get to host the Western WI Conference Competition this year! The day went very smoothly,” Coach Megan Franklin said. “River Falls hosted two of the four dance competitions in our end of the state this season – a big responsibility that we take pride in being able to do! We had 263 total dancers participating throughout the day.

“Since Dance had to move many competitions back this season due to COVID, we ran into some teams' spring breaks, so we had two teams that competed virtually for Conference- Hudson and Superior. “We are glad we were able to offer that and they were thankful we were able to include them as much as we could! We got to show their routines up on our new digital scoreboard for the audience as well as on the livestream.”

“Overall, it was a great, successful day and wonderful to get to have some spectators at a competition again!” Franklin said. “We could not have pulled it off without all of our help from our awesome River Falls volunteers and the RFHS staff and administrations' support we appreciate them so much!”

At the Regional competition in Hudson last weekend, the Wildcats earned 1st Place D1 Hip Hop Regional Champions and 3rd Place D1 Jazz! The River Falls Dance Team is State bound for the third year in a row and state qualifiers in both routines.
