Richard Zimmer passed away at home March 1 at the age of 87. He was born in Dunn County, Wis. to Evelyn (Brehm) and Reynold Zimmer. He attended Elmwood schools and after graduation entered the U.S. Army and spent most of three years in Germany. After returning in 1958, he married Marlene Kannel and they lived in Richfield, Minn. until 1963 when they moved to Plum City where he remained the rest of his life.
