On Monday, March 14, Ellsworth Fire Department received a $2,500 donation from River Country Cooperative. River Country CEO/General Manager John Duchscherer said RCC is supporting 10 fire departments within its service area as part of a $25,000 initiative. “We know they put in a lot of time and energy and training, and we want to give them the resources to be successful,” Duchscherer said. EFD’s Kellen Langer said the money, of which they are appreciative, will be used for firefighting equipment. Pictured are (from left) Jerry DeWolfe, Kellen Langer, John Duchscherer and Tom Flanigan.
