RIVER FALLS – The River Falls Branch of AAUW will hold its annual community book sale for three weeks in October: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m._Saturdays, from Oct. 14-30. It will be held at 126 N. Main St., River Falls, the former site of Global Made and next door to Domino’s.__ In addition to donations of well-loved but gently used books, this year we are taking complete puzzles and media as well. We cannot use textbooks, out-of-date resource books, condensed books and magazines.__ Bring books to Family Fresh and Dick’s Market in River Falls and County Market in Hudson._Donation barrels were set by Sept. 1. Large quantities of books can be dropped off at the sale_site 4-6 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays Sept. 1 through Oct. 9.
Except for 2020, this annual event has provided scholarships funds for women students from Chippewa Valley Technical College and University of Wisconsin-River Falls for over 30 years. _AAUW looks forward to the continued community support for this meaningful event by both its donation and_purchase of books._ Founded in 1881, AAUW has promoted its mission to advance “gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy.”__
