The River Falls branch of AAUW will conduct its annual used book sale Oct. 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18. Sale hours are: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays at 111 E. Locust St., River Falls, across from the First National Bank.
Donations can be dropped in barrels located at Ptacek’s Family Market, Family Fresh Market in River Falls and. Hudson Grocery Co-op in Hudson from Sept. 9 to Oct. 6. Large quantities of books should be dropped at sale site on Saturdays, Sept. 27 and Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We welcome gently used books, puzzles and games (no magazines, textbooks or encyclopedias). Proceeds support scholarships for high school, CVTC and UWRF students.
