RIVER FALLS – HOPE Lutheran Church in River Falls hosted its third National Night Out on Aug. 2 for the Sterling Ponds neighborhood and the River Falls community. Helping to build strong community relationships among neighbors and partnerships with police/sheriu agencies are the goals of this annual event.
In spite of very warm temperatures, many residents attended and enjoyed numerous activities and tasty food. HOPE Lutheran provided plant-based tacos and cold drinks, Mei Mei’s Cookies donated ice cream cups, and the Holy Donuts food truck ouered yummy treats. Attendees donated items for Turningpoint, Our Neighbors’ Place, and the River Falls Food Pantry. Thank you to all!
Another big word of thanks to the many participants who made it possible.
