Update from the March 28 general meeting: A police officer and a representative from First National Bank of River Falls spoke on elder fraud. They stressed that anyone can be a victim of fraud – which can cross social and economic boundaries. They provided information on types of fraud, tips on how to respond to questionable emails, phone calls and online scams, and provided phone numbers to call if you feel victimized. The session was informative and interesting.
