RIVER FALLS – The River Falls American Legion annual Christmas tree sale will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 19, with the arrival of nearly 500 trees. Sales will continue 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily until gone.
Highlights include a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday, Nov. 26. That morning also includes a pancake breakfast open to the public. Those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable donation to the local food shelf.
“We’re pleased to once again offer our community a source of high-quality, affordable trees,” says Missy Hildebrandt, Post 121 Commander. “It’s especially rewarding to see the excited looks on kids’ faces as they help select the tree that they’ll find their presents under on Christmas morning.”
