MADISON –The Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) has elected Keri Schreiner to its Board of Directors. Schreiner currently serves as the Economic Development Manager for the City of River Falls.

The board election took place at WEDA’s annual meeting on Feb. 1, 2024, during the association’s Governor’s Conference on Economic Development held in Wisconsin Dells.

“I am truly honored to accept the appointment to the Wisconsin Economic Development Association board,” said Schreiner. “I look forward to working with fellow members to advance economic opportunities and contribute to the growth and prosperity of our state.”

Schreiner, who began working for the City of River Falls in 2014, has served as the community’s Economic Development Manager since 2020. She has held multiple positions for the city, including Economic Development Specialist, Management Analyst, and Management Analyst Fellow. She also serves on the River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Board. Schreiner is a University of Kansas graduate and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University.

“WEDA is excited to have Keri join our board of directors. We eagerly welcome her proven leadership and expertise in the economic development arena,” said Mary Perry, WEDA President and CEO. “Our members value Keri’s professional experience and are confident in her ability to help WEDA advance the Wisconsin economy.”
