As part of Scouting America, Scouts BSA is a youth development program for boys and girls ages 11 to 17. It offers a variety of outdoor adventures and skill-building activities that help young people develop into the next generation of leaders.
Through a wide range of experiences, Scouts BSA encourages leadership, responsibility, citizenship, and personal growth. The self-paced, youth-led curriculum helps young people achieve their best.
From camping to hiking to community service and merit badge achievements, Scouts BSA produces self-reliant, community-minded leaders. It provides a supportive environment where young people learn to take initiative, set goals, and work as a team to achieve them.
Why scouts?
Scouting promotes physical activity, emotional wellness, and social development.
Established in 1989, Troop 9054 has a robust, trained leadership team. We offer a wide-ranging program with year-round camping, Scout leadership opportunities, and a strong emphasis on being Scout-led. Troop 9054 meets at 7 p.m. Mondays at The Scout House.
