Sean Patrick Butts, 53, of Clearwater, MN passed away on Oct. 11 from natural causes.
Sean was born on July 9, 1969 in Red Wing MN, to Ellen and Calvin Butts of Hager City, Wl. After Sean graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1987, he went on to complete his bachelor’s degree at St. Cloud State University.
After graduating with a BS degree in Real Estate, he started his first job at BRKW as an appraiser, kickstarting a 31-year career in appraisal. He completed his Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and most recently was a SVP at Newmark Knight Frank.
His favorite activities were fishing, golfing, traveling out west and to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The true loves of his life were his daughter, Zoe, dogs Maggie, Wheezie and Chance.
Sean is survived by daughter Zoe Michalak, sister Melanie Butts, his mother and father, Ellen and Calvin Butts and special friend Iris Montgomery.
A service will be held at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail N, Forest Lake, MN, on Oct. 23, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. with a visitation at 1 p.m. and a light reception of dessert and conversation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Zoe Michalak’s college fund.
