PRESCOTT – Thank you to all who joined us last Thursday for the very entertaining program by the barbershop quartet, Just 4 Fun! It was fantastic! Remember tickets are still available to the April 26 Spring Show in Stillwater by going to www.croixchordsmen.org or calling 651-202-6056.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, April 9: At 10 a.m., plant your own basket/planter at Seven Sisters. Cost of plants will be at your expense; bring your own basket/plantar or purchase one there. Plants will be kept at the center until weather is appropriate for growing outside. From 12:30-3:30 p.m. join your friends for a game of Euchre!
Thursday, April 10: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) Art 101 takes place at 1 p.m. in room G9. Then at 12:30 p.m., Canasta card game will be played in G5.
Monday, April 14: All Gathering Place volunteers are requested to attend a school safety training with Police Officer Beau at 1 p.m.
Tuesday, April 15: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Join members for a fun game of Left, Right, Center at 12:30 p.m. and remember to bring dimes.
Wednesday, April 16: The Program and Publicity committees meet at 10:15 a.m. at the Gathering Place. Euchre is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., followed by Bridge at 1 p.m.
Thursday, April 17: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. At 1 p.m., watch “Thelma,” a comedy about a 93-year-old victim of a phone scam seeking revenge.
Friday, April 18: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank conference room (lower level).
Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., and is open to all seniors aged 55 and older. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. with occasional earlier hours. Please feel free to stop in and check it out.
