PRESCOTT – Please mark your calendars as Gathering Place will be closed for the school Christmas break from Dec. 22 until Jan. 3. We reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 3 (see below). If you would like to attend events at the Senior Gathering Place but need a ride, please call Penny Peterson at 715-261-4676. Leave her your name and a contact number so she can arrange a ride for you. Or you can email her at [email protected] This is something new we are doing at the Gathering Place so we can accommodate all our senior members. Thursday, Dec. 15: Movie and popcorn, 1 p.m., come see “ The Santa Clause,” a comedy featuring Tim Allen.
Friday, Dec. 16: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level).
Tuesday, Dec. 20: Pickleball in the MIS gym 9-10:30 a.m. Left, Right, Center game and other games 1-3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 21: Card games from 12:30-3:30 p.m.; come play Euchre, Bridge, and other card games.
Tuesday, Jan. 3: Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at noon for a soup lunch and start your new year with friends. Happy Holidays!
