PRESCOTT – We got a reprieve and are enjoying spring! I don’t know about you, but I am not quite ready for summer yet! The .owering fruit trees, tulips, and budding trees are a welcome sight. The rains brought out everyone’s lawnmowers and the spring breezes welcome open windows and fresh air. Aaaah!!
Friday, May 20 – Memory Cafe continues from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (1151 Canton St., Prescott, lower level).
Tuesday, May 24 – Open at 12:30 p.m. with Book Club meeting at 1 p.m. We will be discussing “Thief River Falls” by Brian Freeman Wednesday, May 25 – Walking in the gym at 9 a.m. Pickleball will take place at 9 a.m. at Meyer Middle School courts (230 N. Ninth St.) in River Falls. Remember there are no YMCA classes till September. From 12:30-3:30 p.m. cards will be played. Join in on Bridge, Euchre or game of your choice, and bring your friends!
Thursday, May 26 & Tuesday, May 31 – Gathering Place will be closed in honor of Memorial Day weekend.
Starting in June Gathering Place will only be open only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Watch for new times for walking group and pickleball.
