PRESCOTT – Welcome back seniors (age 55 and above). We are back at 1220 St. Croix St. after a summer of remodeling and parking lot work at the now Prescott Middle School. We will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Memory Cafe will continue to meet twice a month on Friday at First National bank lower level community room.
A huge thank you to First National bank for hosting Gathering Place this summer in their community room.
Coming events at the Gathering Place:
Thursday, Sept. 7: Introduction to watercolor painting, supply fee will be charged.
Tuesday, Sept. 12: Walking Groups meets at 9 a.m. at the Gathering Place. Join us for Canasta at 12:30 p.m.; all levels of players welcome.
Wednesday, Sept. 13: Card, Bridge, Euchre, etc. from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 14: Amy Luther from Pierce County Aging & Disability Resource Center will speak at 1 p.m. about the Caregiver Support Group.
