PRESCOTT – Seniors, did you make it to the Gathering Place last week? The weather is going to continue to be nice for a few days yet so come on over to 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5 and join in activities. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and over are welcome.

Wednesday, Feb. 7: Card games will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Games include Euchre, Bridge and game of your choice.

Thursday, Feb. 8: Pickleball will be played in the gym at 9 a.m. at Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) Art 101/watercolor painting takes place at 1 p.m. at the Gathering Place. A $2 supply fee is collected at class time. All talents welcome.

Monday, Feb. 12: Chair Yoga class is 9:30-10:30 a.m. (preregistration required). Check in at the Gathering Place.

Tuesday, Feb. 13: Pickleball will be played in the gym at 9 a.m. at Prescott Intermediate School. Canasta (card game) will be played at 12:30 p.m. at the Gathering Place, Room 5.

Wednesday, Feb. 14: Card games will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Games include Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice.

Thursday, Feb. 15: Pickleball will be played in the gym at 9 a.m. at Prescott Intermediate School. This month’s movie will be “The Butler” shown at 1 p.m. It is inspired by the real life of Eugene Allen who worked in the White House as a butler for decades. 

Friday, Feb. 16: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level).
Monthly schedules of events and activities are available at the Gathering Place when open. So stop by and talk with the hostess and pick up a schedule, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 12:30-3:30 p.m.
