PRESCOTT – As I write this it is a beautiful warm sunny day. At least for now as it sounds like we are in for cooler temperatures for Easter and rain with possible snow. Spring is having a little challenge sticking around. Parents must have a challenge too trying to figure out how to dress students in the varying weather. 

Coming activities:

Wednesday, April 1: Cards Day with Euchre at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge at 1 p.m.  

Thursday, April 2: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School Gym (125 Elm St. N.) Art 101/Watercolor meets at 1 p.m. Beginners are welcome.

Friday, April 3: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank community room lower level.

Tuesday, April 7: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. We will host a speaker at 1 p.m. in Room G5 at the Gathering Place. Hear Megan Langer report on Prescott tourism and summer happenings.

Wednesday, April 8: Euchre card game will be played at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 9: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott intermediate School Gym. At 12:30 p.m., a Canasta card game will be played; new players welcome!

Monday, April 13: Potting party at Seven Sisters Greenhouse at 11 a.m. RSVP by Wednesday, April 8, by contacting Penny Peterson or signing up at the Gathering Place.

Tuesday, April 14: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Then it’s Annual Meeting Day! Come for lunch at 12 noon provided by The Corner Italian Restaurant and paid for by the Gathering Place! The Annual Meeting starts right after lunch. All are invited.

The Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. at the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome to attend.
