PRESCOTT – Welcome Spring! Buds on the tulips, warmer temps and the grass turning green. Of course, that also means we will soon be mowing lawns and planting, but I would rather be doing that than shoveling snow! However, I do have a memory of a 4-inch snowfall in April!
Coming activities:
Wednesday, April 15: Program and Publicity committee meets at 10:30 a.m. Cards Day with Euchre at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge at 1 p.m.
Thursday, April 16: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. to play at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) Movie Day begins at 1 p.m. with "Eleanor the Great," a 2025 comedy/drama.
Friday, April 17: Memory Cafe from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room lower level.
Tuesday, April 21: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. to play at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Mahjong players meet from 9-11:30 a.m. at Joy Lutheran church (1435 St. Croix St.) At 10 a.m., Hooks and Needles meets at the Gathering Place; bring your projects, no teaching.
Wednesday, April 22: Cards Day with Euchre played at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 23: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. to play at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Canasta will be played at 12:30 p.m.; all are welcome.
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 years and older are welcome to join in activities.
