PRESCOTT – I have to say thank you to the Prescott American Legion for the great work cooking up and decorating all those eggs for the Easter Egg hunt last Saturday! Even though it was cool there was no rain or snow to slow down the hunt. I'm sure a great time was had by all. I hope you all had a great Easter holiday.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, April 8: Euchre card game will be played at 12:30 p.m. Come enjoy a fun time with others. All are welcome.
Thursday, April 9: Pickleball players will meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) Keep in touch with players to see when they will be moving to the outside courts. The Canasta card game will be played at 12:30 p.m.
Monday, April 13: At 11 a.m., join us for a Planting Party at Seven Sisters Greenhouse. RSVP by April 8 by signing on at the Gathering Place or contacting Penny Peterson at 715-262-4676.
Tuesday, April 14: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Intermediate School Gym. Outside court games are coming soon. Mahjong players will meet from 9-11:30 a.m. at Joy Lutheran Church (1435 St. Croix St.) Then, the annual meeting will take place after a noon meal catered by The Corner Italian at the Gathering Place. Stay after the free meal to hear the reports on where we have been and where we are going.
Wednesday, April 15: At 10:30 a.m., the Program and Publicity Committee will meet at the Gathering Place. The Euchre card game will be played at 12:30 p.m. with Bridge at 1 p.m.
Thursday, April 16: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Outdoor play is coming soon. Movie Day begins at 1 p.m. with “Eleanor the Great,” a comedy/drama from 2025.
Friday, April 17: Memory Café will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level)
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott Middle School, Door 5.
All seniors age 55 and older are welcome to join. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
