PRESCOTT – Now that our winter weather has settled down some, make a trip to the Gathering Place. Meet some new people who may share your interests! Bring a friend.

The monthly schedule has many opportunities, card games, art, crafts, books, movies, fun games and pickleball! Lots to choose from. We are also open to new things so bring your ideas.  

We are located at 1220 St Croix St at the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome! 

Wednesday, Feb. 11: Card game Euchre will be played at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 12: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. for play at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) Card game Canasta is played at 1 p.m.; old and new players are invited to this fun card game.

Tuesday, Feb. 17: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. for play at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. At 12:30 p.m., meet your friends for a fun game of Left, Right, Center. Don't forget to bring your dimes! 

Wednesday, Feb. 18: Program and Publicity committees meet at 10:15 a.m. at the Gathering Place. At 12:30 p.m., members and friends meet to play Euchre, followed by Bridge players at 1 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 19: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. for play at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Movie Day starts at 1:15 p.m. with “A Complete Unknown,” the Bob Dylan biopic.

Friday, Feb. 20: Memory Care meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room, lower level.  

NOTE: When school closes due to the weather, the Senior Gathering Place is also CLOSED.
