PRESCOTT – Here we are at the end of February! Is it just me that it feels like we just finished Christmas break? There is talk of Easter/spring break at the schools and friends are making plans to visit warmer climates in the near future. I thought life would slow down as I aged/retired but actually I'm doing nothing to promote that idea. I find too many things to keep me active, including activities at the Senior Gathering Place! Come join me and others for some fun!

Wednesday, Feb. 25: Euchre will be played at 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 26: Members meet at 1 p.m. for the card game Canasta. New players are welcome!

Tuesday, March 3: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate school gym (125 Elm St. N.)

We have Amy Hildebrandt from the Ridgetop coming to speak at 1 p.m. but also a special treat at noon as Amy is bringing us a lasagna lunch. Come join us not only for delicious food but to hear about her wonderful enterprise at Ridgetop.

Wednesday, March 4: Cards day with Euchre played at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge played at 1 p.m. Fun times for all.

Thursday, March 5: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym).

Art 101/ Watercolor takes place at 1 p.m.

Friday, March 6: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room lower level.

Tuesday, March 10: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate school gym.

Tuesday is our noon potluck lunch with featured speaker Prescott Supt. Jim Reif presenting at 1 p.m. 

PLEASE NOTE: Prescott Schools’ spring break is coming up so the school will be closed Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20.

Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. in the Prescott Middle School. Please use Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome.
