Here we are halfway through August with start of school just around the corner. We are looking forward to being back at the middle school in our usual location Tuesday, Sept. 3. Thank you all for understanding about all the construction delays this summer and a HUGE thank you to First National Bank for the fantastic accommodations in your lower level conference room. You made it possible for us to continue our programs and to meet all summer.
Wednesday, Aug. 14: Join your friends for an afternoon of cards with Euchre at 12:30 p.m., followed by Bridge at 1 p.m. and plenty of room for other card games.
Thursday, Aug. 15: No scheduled activities at this time.
Friday, Aug. 16: Memory Cafe meets 10-11:30 a.m. at Freedom Park
Tuesday, Aug. 20: Walking group meets at 9 a.m. at the Middle School. Mahjongg group meets at 9 a.m., call Aggie at 715-641-2265 for location. Pickleball meets at 9 a.m. at Lions Park across from Prescott Intermediate School. Meet at First National Bank lower level community room at 12:30 p.m. for Left, Right, Center and for other games.
Wednesday, Aug. 21: Euchre will be played at 12:30 p.m., along with Bridge and card games of your choice.
Mark Tuesday, Aug. 27 on your calendar as we will be hosting the Fall Kickoff Potluck Picnic at noon at Freedom Park Pavilion. Bring a friend and a dish to pass. Meat will be provided. 
There will be no potluck on Tuesday, Sept. 3 when we reopen at the Prescott Middle School.
Program and Publicity committees meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21.
Advisory Board meets at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors age 55 and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott Middle School, Room G 5. Our regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30- 3:30 p.m.
