PRESCOTT – Big reminder! Our end of summer picnic is at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at Freedom Park pavilion (200 Monroe St., Prescott). We will be serving hot dogs and bratwurst with condiments. Bring yourself and a friend, a dish to pass and enjoy the companionship of your fellow Gathering Place friends!
Program Committee has been busy planning fall events and activities. We will be back at our usual location, room G9, but now it is officially the Prescott Middle School (1220 St. Croix St.)

Thursday, Aug. 24: 10 a.m. to noon join us for rock painting. Bring a small paintbrush if you have one; all other supplies provided. Call Karen Lehman to RSVP at 715-262-3418.

Wednesday, Aug. 30: Join us at 12:30 p.m. at First National Bank lower level community room for euchre, bridge or game of choice.

We want to say a big thank you to First National Bank of River Falls for the excellent summer accommodations. Plan to join us in September when we resume activities at 1220 St. Croix St., Room G9.
