PRESCOTT – This has been a long summer of construction for Prescott schools! Work at the Prescott Middle School is ongoing so we continue to meet at First National Bank Community room lower level. The plentiful rain has kept our lawns green but has contributed to a slow down of construction work.
Please join us for Gathering Place Activities at First National Bank Community room, lower level.
Wednesday, Aug. 7: Join us for cards with Euchre at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge at 1 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 8: Join your friends for an age old card game of Canasta at 12:30 p.m. Also ongoing on Thursday is Art 101 at 1 p.m.; please bring a supply fee of $2.
Tuesday, Aug. 13: Social time is at 1 p.m. Come chat with old and new friends and enjoy coffee and treats.
Wednesday, Aug. 14: Cards will be played with Euchre at 12:30 p.m.
We hope those who joined us on the pontoon ride July 18 had an enjoyable time. Unfortunately, the pontoon ride for July 23 was cancelled due to rain. There may be a rescheduled trip and we will keep you posted.
A date to mark on your calendar is Tuesday, Aug. 27 when there will be a Fall Kick-off Potluck Picnic at noon at the pavilion at Freedom Park. Members and friends invited.
Program and Publicity committees meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21.
Advisory Board meets at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.
Plan to join us at any of the activities listed above. By September we will be back at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott Middle School. All seniors age 55 and older are invited to join us.
