PRESCOTT – It looks like April showers are on the way. We may be seeing a few snowflakes but the melting has started! Hopefully we are done shoveling for this year!
Spend some time in April getting reacquainted with the Gathering Place. Attend the annual meeting at 1 p.m. April 4 to see what you missed and what you can look forward to in the coming months. Did I mention lunch? Stop in and sign up for lunch that day at noon April 4. We need a head count so we can provide enough food!
Thursday, March 30: Come watch the John Wayne movie, “The Quiet Man” and munch on some popcorn at 1 p.m.
Tuesday, April 4: Busy day with pickleball in the gym at 9 a.m. Program/Publicity committees meet at 9:30 a.m. At noon we will provide a catered lunch and all are welcome. The annual meeting will follow lunch.
Wednesday, April 5: Join your friends for cards, euchre, bridge or a game of your choice from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 6: Learn how to make Easter bunnies out of Tootsie Pops at 1 p.m. Make one for yourself and/or for a shut in. Cost to be determined and registration recommended.
Friday, April 7: Memory Café will be held 10-11:30 a.m. at First National Bank Community Room (1151 Canton St.)
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors age 55 and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St. in Malone Intermediate School; use Door 5. If you need a ride, call Penny Peterson at 715-262-4676 or email her at ppeterson@prescott.k12.wi.us
