PRESCOTT – We made it through the coldest day of January and now we have only two months till April showers! Thank heavens the sun is shining through all the cold. It helps my mood immensely! Joining others in fun activities is a sure way to also make the cold move on. Come join us this next week and find out for yourself. All are welcome.

Wednesday, Jan. 28: Cards Day, come play Euchre from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 29: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 N. Elm St.) At 1 p.m., learn to make crochet covered hangers. Bring a plastic hanger; the rest will be provided.

Tuesday, Feb. 3: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Join the group to play Mahjong 9-1130 a.m. at Joy Lutheran Church (1435 St. Croix St.) At 1 p.m. join the group to make a Valentine craft. Sign up at the Gathering Place and see the pretty fun heart!

Wednesday, Feb. 4: Cards Day, come play Euchre at 12:30 p.m. or Bridge at 1 p.m.  

Thursday, Feb. 5: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Art 101/Watercolor meets; beginners welcome.  

Friday, Feb. 6: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank community room, lower level (1151 Canton St.)

Tuesday, Feb. 10: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Mahjong players meet from 9-11:30 a.m, at Joy Lutheran Church. At noon, join us for a potluck lunch; everyone welcome, bring a friend! The meal is followed by our speaker from St Croix Hospice. Speaker will talk about preventing falls.

The Senior Gathering place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott Middle School. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
