Do keep in mind that the Gathering Place is air-conditioned and a very comfortable place to bring a friend and enjoy an activity. We did cancel the July 30 trip to "Feed My Starving Children" but not due to the heat. We will be rescheduling the trip for the fall schedule.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, July 29: Even though this is the fifth Wednesday in July, Euchre card game will be played at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 30: The fifth Thursday in July finds us with no activity scheduled therefore the Gathering Place is closed.
Tuesday, Aug. 4: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. to play on the outside courts on Court Street. Sorry, but again we are closed today at the Gathering Place as no activity is scheduled. Keep cool!
Wednesday, Aug. 5; Card day with Euchre played at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge played at 1 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 6: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. to play at the outside courts on Court Street. Remember the game is inside if there is foul weather. At 1 p.m., join your friends for Art 101; no ongoing teaching.
Friday, Aug. 7; Memory Café meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at Freedom Park inside at the visitor center.
The Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. in the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome to attend.
