Senior Gathering Place activities: June 11-18, 2025

PRESCOTT – It may not be official but summer has started. Schools are out but the Senior Gathering Place is still open and will be all summer. Summer schedules are available for pick up at the Gathering Place.  Or you can contact Penny Peterson at ppeters2@prescott.k12.wi.us to request a copy.

Coming activities:

Wednesday June 11: It’s Cards Day! Play Euchre from 12:30-3:30 p.m.; all players welcome!

Thursday, June 12: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) Canasta card game from 12:30-3:30 p.m.; come join your friends for some fun.

Friday, June 13: Depart at 8:45 a.m. with registered members for a trip to volunteer at "Feed My Starving Children.” Return approximately at noon.

Tuesday, June 17: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Play Mahjongg at 9 a.m. at Joy Lutheran Church, 1435 St. Croix St. Join members for Left, Rig.ht, Center at 1 p.m., but remember to bring your dimes!

Wednesday, June 18: Program/Publicity Committee meeting at 10:15 a.m., followed by Euchre at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge at 1 p.m.  

Thursday, June 19: 10:30 a.m. Advisory Board meeting.

Friday, June 20: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. This week, meet at Freedom Park, 200 Monroe St.

Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. at the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome. All are invited to stop in and check out the Gathering Place.
