PRESCOTT – I hope you all have been able to enjoy the sunshine and warmer temps. I am hoping March does not leave like a lion this month, but the weather lately has been a roller coaster of changes. My tulips on the south side of my house are up a couple inches already, but that has happened before and they always bloom in spring. I guess they are hearty like us.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, March 11: Cards day with Euchre played at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 12: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) Then join the Canasta card players at 1 p.m. for a fun game; new players are welcome!
March 16-20: The middle school is closed for spring break; therefore, the Gathering Place is closed.
Friday, March 20: Memory Café will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level).
Tuesday, March 24: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym; Book Club meets at 1 p.m. to discuss the book “Monkeewrench” by local author P.J. Tracy.
The Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. at the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome to attend.
