PRESCOTT – Boy, it sure feels like summer with the temps hitting 90! I am looking forward to more spring-like weather at the end of this week and some much needed rain. Hopefully without more wind and definitely not lightning; there are fire warnings everywhere!
Coming events:
Wednesday, May 14: Program & Publicity Committee meets at 10:15 a.m., followed by Euchre at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 15: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) At 1 p.m., we’ll show the movie “Mother’s Day,” a multi-star comedy about the experiences of motherhood.
Friday, May 16: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the first National Bank Community Room (lower level).
Tuesday, May 20: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Intermediate School gym. At 12:30 p.m., join members for Left, Right, Center dice game but bring dimes. At 4 p.m., the Tech Support Club meets. Bring your laptops and questions.
Wednesday, May 21: Play Euchre at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge at 1 p.m.
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. in the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. All seniors aged 55 and older are invited to attend. Traditional hours are 12:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We will be open this summer so watch for details.
