PRESCOTT – It may be cloudy and cool this week but guess what! We have the promise of measurable rain, like 1-2 inches! I think I can manage using an umbrella and wearing a raincoat for a couple days. I've seen the dust flying as farmers are preparing their fields for planting, so I know the moisture is needed. Grab your raincoat and join us at Gathering Place for some fun activities.
Wednesday, May 21: Euchre will be played at 12:30 p.m., followed by Bridge at 1 p.m.
Thursday, May 22: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) At 12:30 p.m., join your friends for the card game Canasta. At 4 p.m., we’ll host a session on tech support for Android phones; bring your questions.
Tuesday, May 27: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Book Club meets to discuss books by Judy Blume, "Are You There God? It's Me Margaret" and " In the Likely Event."
Wednesday, May 28: Euchre begins at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 29: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Crafting with Carol starts at 1 p.m.
Prescott Senior Gathering place is open to all seniors aged 55 and older. It is located at the Prescott Middle School, 1220 St. Croix St. Use door 5; ample parking and handicapped access. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12:30-3:30 p.m.
