PRESCOTT – It sure feels like summer is approaching! Memorial Day is done and the closing of schools for the year is happening very soon.
The Senior Gathering Place will be open at its usual location for June, July and August. We will keep you posted via this newspaper as to all our activities for the summer.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, May 28: Euchre card game will be played at 12:30 p.m. New to the game or need a refresher? Join us!
Thursday, May 29: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) At 1 p.m., come for Crafting with Carol at the Gathering Place.
Tuesday, June 3: At noon, join us for a potluck lunch. Bring a dish to pass, then stay for "Meet Our Local Businesses.” Featured this month is Crystal Hines, owner of Always Pure Salon (215 Broad St. N.)
Wednesday, June 4: At 12:30 p.m., join members for Euchre play Bridge at 1 p.m.
Thursday, June 5: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym.
Friday, June 6: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level)
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors aged 55 years and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5.
Hours are 12:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All are welcome!
