PRESCOTT – Fall continues to be gorgeous! The drive North of Hudson this weekend was really beautiful. I hope you had a chance to get out for a drive. Our unseasonably warm temps have us holding onto fall, yet we know that a hard frost and colder temps are inevitable. In the meantime, I'm enjoying our reprieve from the cold!
Coming activities:
Wednesday, Oct. 22: Euchre card game will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Come join your friends for a pleasant afternoon.
Thursday, Oct. 23: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. Join in a game of Canasta at 12:30 p.m. New players are welcome with lots of tutoring help available.
Tuesday, Oct. 28: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. At 1 p.m., the Book Club will meet for a discussion of last month's book, "Prayers for Sale" by Sandra Dallas. Come join the discussion and pick up the new book for November.
Wednesday, Oct. 29: Euchre card game will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 30: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. Join us at 1 p.m. for a Treats Contest. Show off your favorite autumn dessert or snack in this friendly contest. All tasters are welcome!
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. Use Door 5 of the Prescott Middle School across from the football field. Regular hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome to attend.
