PRESCOTT - Fall is truly here with cool evenings and warm days and lots of football being played. My hummingbirds are still feeding so they haven't all migrated south. I have had a lot of goldfinches also. And my mums have budded and are awaiting sunshine to burst into color. It can really be a beautiful, colorful time of year.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, Sept. 10: Cards Day with Euchre played at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 11: Pickeball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. Canasta will be played at 12:30 p.m. in room G9 and Art 101 Watercolor Painting occurs at 1 p.m. at the Gathering Place.
Tuesday, Sept. 16: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. At 10 a.m., join friends for Hooks and Needles; bring your projects, no teaching. At 12:30 p.m., play Left Right Center; remember to bring your dimes.
Wednesday, Sept. 17: The Program & Publicity meeting at 10:15 a.m. Euchre starts at 12:30 p.m. followed by Bridge at 1 p.m.
The Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome to attend.
