PRESCOTT – Happy Fall everyone! I hope everyone had an opportunity to enjoy Prescott Daze or any of the many fall events going on. Craft fairs, apple orchards and outdoor concerts abound in our area. Come join us at the Senior Gathering Place as we have a variety of things going on this fall.
Remember we are now open at our usual location, now the Prescott Middle School with easy access at Door 5, 1220 St. Croix St.
Wednesday, Sept. 13: Card games 12:30-3:30 p.m., including Euchre, Bridge or game of choice.
Thursday, Sept. 14: Speaker at 1 p.m. Amy Luther from Pierce County ADRC and Memory Café/Caregiver Support Group will speak.
Friday, Sept. 15: 10-11:30 a.m. Memory Café at First National Bank (1151 Canton St.) lower level community room.
Tuesday, Sept. 19: 9 a.m. pickleball outside at Lions Park; 9 a.m. walking group meets at Gathering Place; 12:30 p.m., Left, Right, Center dice game – bring dimes!
Wednesday, Sept. 20: Card games 12:30-3:30 p.m. including Euchre, Bridge or game of choice.
New members always welcome (age 55 and older) so stop in and see what goes on at the Gathering Place. We have books to borrow, always have a puzzle in process as well as a great place and time to meet new people! See you soon!
