PRESCOTT – Summer may have ended according to the calendar and the coming of Labor Day, but the summer warmth and temperatures are still with us. I'm OK with that as the cold winter months last far too long in my book. The warm weather also makes the back to school transition easier.

Thursday, Sept. 3: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the outdoor courts on Court Street. Art 101 Watercolor meets at 1 p.m. No instructions given, just fun painting.
