PRESCOTT – I hope you all enjoyed the potluck lunch on Tuesday and our speaker. Mark your calendar for the first Tuesday of each month as this is when we hold our delicious potluck lunches.

Activities coming up:

Wednesday, Jan. 8: Join members and friends for cards at 12:30 p.m.; Bridge and Euchre will be played, treats also served.

Thursday, Jan. 9: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. At 12:30 p.m. members will be playing Canasta in room G5. Then at 1 p.m., Art 101 watercolor painting takes place in Room G9. Beginners welcome!

Tuesday, Jan. 14: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. Then, a new event! Meet in room G5 at 1 p.m. for Game Day! Your choice of games includes indoor cornhole, cribbage, Mexican dominoes, Five Crowns and more. Bring a game to share if you wish.

Wednesday, Jan. 15: The Program and the Publicity committees meet at 10:15 a.m. in Room G5. From 12:30-3:30 p.m., meet with your friends to play cards; Euchre and Bridge will be played and treats served too!

Thursday, Jan. 16: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. Then at 1 p.m., for Movie Day we’ll show "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas,” which commemorates the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors age 55 years and older. We are located in the Prescott Middle School, 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 12:30- 3:30 p.m. with occasional morning hours. When school closes due to bad weather then the Gathering Place is also closed.
