Thank you, senior citizens for joining us in 2023 in many of our activities! We enjoy new members coming in to “check out” the Gathering Place! As was mentioned in last week’s post we are closed whenever the Prescott School District is closed. So Gathering Place is closed from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2 for the winter/ Christmas break.

Wednesday, Dec. 20: We will be open for cards 12:30-3:30 p.m. Join us for Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice.

Thursday, Dec. 21: Come join us for movie and popcorn at 1 p.m. We will be enjoying “Santa Clause.” End the year with some laughter.
We will be back Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. Pickleball will resume at the Intermediate School on Elm Street at 9 a.m. Also on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. will be the Publicity/Program committee meeting. Then at noon you can join us for our first Tuesday potluck lunch! Come share a good meal and friendship!
Other upcoming events for January 2024 are a speaker at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 when Great River Road Theatre Director Judy Johnson will tell us about the dinner theatre production coming in February.
Movie for January will be “Ice Age-The Meltdown,” an animated comedy, at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18.
Book Club will be discussing “The Clayfields” by Elise Gregory, a local author. Discussion is at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23.
The Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5 of the Prescott Middle School. All seniors 55 and older are welcome! Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
We hope to see you soon.
