PRESCOTT – Spring has sprung! School proms are in full swing, baseball games are occurring everywhere, and I even heard the sound of lawn mowers! It's time to put away the winter shovels and snowblowers.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, April 30: An extra Wednesday in April, so another day to play Euchre at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 1: "HAPPY MAY DAY!" Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. At 10 a.m., come to Gathering Place for Hooks and Needles; bring your own project. At 1 p.m., join us for a performance by the Prescott High School Garage Band; this should be a fun time.
Friday, May 2: Memory Café meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room, lower level.
Tuesday, May 6: Pickleball players meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. At noon, come to the Gathering Place for lunch. Taco Bar provided; you can bring chips, veggies, or dessert. At 1 p.m. come and hear from the local businesses, AIM JOY and the Pizza Arcade.
Wednesday, May 7: Come play Euchre at 12:30 p.m. or Bridge at 1 p.m.
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors aged 55 years and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St. at Prescott Middle School. Come to Door 5, where there is lots of parking available. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. with occasional morning hours.
