PRESCOTT – Just a quick reminder that when Prescott schools are closed, i.e. Christmas break, then Senior Gathering Place is closed. This year we are closed Dec. 22- Jan. 2.
Actives for the next couple weeks are:
Wednesday, Dec. 13: Play cards from 12:30-3:30 p.m., including Euchre, Bridge, or game of your choice.
Thursday, Dec. 14: Santa’s workshop at 1 p.m. Gathering Place members will be assembling/wrapping gifts for seniors in the community. Members, please come and help the elves.
Friday, Dec. 15: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level).
Tuesday, Dec. 19: Pickleball will be played at 9 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) Left Right Center game will be played at 12:30 p.m. Bring you dimes!
Wednesday, Dec. 20: Play cards from 12:30-3:30 p.m., including Euchre, Bridge, or game of your choice.
Thursday, Dec. 21: Enjoy a movie with your friends and a little popcorn. Showing at 1 p.m. is “The Santa Clause.”
January Book Club book is “The Clayfields” by Elise Gregory, a local author. The book will be available Dec. 27. Contact Cathy Martin to pick up your book. Book Club meets at 1 p.m. Jan. 23.
Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott Middle School. Use Door #5.
Seniors 55 years old and older are all welcome. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
