PRESCOTT Spring IS coming, really it is! And so is May! May flowers, Mother's Day, graduations and refreshing your friendships after winter winds have lasted way too long! Tuesday, May 3 The day starts earlier with lunch at noon. Food is provided and all are welcome. Join us and find out what Gathering Place is all about! Then stay to learn how to play the card game, Whist. Play starts about 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 The day also begins early with pickleball and walking in the gym 9-10:30 a.m. At 11 a.m. the YMCA in – structor leads senior cardio strength, then at 11:35 a.m. chair yoga begins. Both are 30-minute sessions. At 12:30 p.m. Bridge and Euchre start or any card game you and your friends enjoy. Bring your group!
Thursday, May 5 "How to Thursday" wel – comes Sharon Calton. She will teach us how to make greeting cards. Lots of good ideas for cards and lots of occasions coming up this spring to use them. Please RSVP, cost is $2 per card made with supplies provided. Friday, May 6 Memory Cafe takes place at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level) from 10-11:30 a.m. Remember we are located at 1220 St. Croix St., lower level, Door 5. Open to all seniors 55+ years. Spring time hours are 12:30-3:30 p.m. Come and enjoy great activities and friendship, we always love meeting new peo ple!
