PRESCOTT – It may not feel like spring yet, but hopefully by the time you read this our temperatures are more spring like. It would also help if the March winds would cease! Tuesday, April 26 – Join the book club to discuss the book “A Walk in the Woods.” No, not the Winnie the Pooh book, but a book by Bill Bryson as he relates his experience with rediscovering the Appalachian Trail. A modern class of travel literature. Wednesday, April 27 – Join us for inside pickleball and walking in the gym 9-10:30 a.m. Later at 11-11:30 a.m., YMCA staff will lead us in senior cardio strength training and from 11:35 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. they will guide us through chair yoga.

From 12:30- 3:30 p.m. find us in the Gathering Place challenging each other to a game of Euchre or Bridge. Thursday, April 28 – We welcome Prescott Police Chief Eric Michaels, who will give us an update on what is new with the police department, especially news about the new ca- nine member. Come and find out the latest and visit with other Gathering Place members. If you are new to Gathering Place, just stop in at 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5 and chat with us. New members are always welcome. Hope to see you next week and in May to officially welcome spring, really!
