PRESCOTT – Due to Malone Intermediate School undergoing asbestos removal and parking lot rehab this summer, the building and parking lot will be closed. The Senior Gathering Place Programming Committee is still planning activities, but please note locations as all activities will be meeting off-site.
Walking Group: 9 a.m. Tuesdays. Meet at Joy Lutheran parking lot
Pickleball: 9 a.m. Tuesdays at Lions Park (across from current middle school.) Contact Arlene at 612-396-4063
Left, Right, Center & Canasta: 1 p.m. the first, second and third Tuesdays of the month. Meet in the lower level of First National Bank
Book Club: 1 p.m. June 27, July 25 and Aug. 22 at Freedom Park. The June book will be “Staggerford” by John Hassler. July’s book will be “Kitchens of the Great Midwest” by J. Ryan Strada. The August book is "As I Lay Dying" (banned book) by William Falkner
Euchre & Bridge: 12:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the lower level of the First National Bank
Memory Café: 10-11:30 a.m. first and third Fridays of each month in the lower level of First National Bank.
The Gathering Place will tentatively reopen Tuesday, Sept. 5. Starting in September our building will be referred to as Prescott Middle School.
Trip to Pierce County Historical Association in Bay City: Meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 at Joy Lutheran Church parking lot to carpool.
HealthRHYTHMS Drumming Event: 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, July 7 at Freedom Park Pavilion (200 Monroe St.) Join us for a free, fun, interactive and creative musical experience for seniors - Sponsored by Prescott Memory Café
