PRESCOTT – It's coming! The last week of March! Will it leave like a lion or a lamb? Or will we have a real April Fool's joke with winter sticking around into April?

Whatever the weather chooses to do it is always a comfortable environment in the Gathering Place. So come check it out and find out for yourself.

Coming activities:

Wednesday, March 26: Card games 12:30-3:30 p.m., play Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice.

Thursday, March 27: Join Pickleball players at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) for a game or two! At 12:30 p.m. join your friends in Room G5 for a game of Canasta. Many of us played this game many years ago and have really enjoyed taking it up again. Come join us; it's not hard to pick it up again!

Tuesday, April 1: No fooling, there is not a potluck this Tuesday. That's because next Tuesday, April 8, is our annual meeting and catered lunch! So mark your calendars to join us! Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Soon the games will be held on the outside courts!

Wednesday, April 2: Card games 12:30-3:30 p.m., come play Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice.

Thursday, April 3: Pickleball is played at 8:30 a.m. at the gym in the Intermediate School. At 1 p.m., we will be entertained by the Croix Chordsmen four-part harmony quartet, JUST 4 FUN! Come enjoy the great entertainment and dessert. There will be a drawing to win tickets to the Croix Chordsmen Spring Show as well as an opportunity to purchase tickets for the event. 

The Gathering Place is open to all seniors aged 55 and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St., the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12:30-3:30 p.m. with occasional events earlier in the day. Please feel free to join us; we would love to see you!
